The recycling container can be used for different recyclable resources such as glass or paper. The container consists of two main element. The enamelled steel sheet exterior is available in various colours and easy to clean. Premium back-lit advertising panels (standard poster format) are integrated in the sides of the exterior.
The actual container unit is fixed by solid steel profiles inside the exterior cover. Different openings are available for different recyclable resources - e.g. round for glass and flat for paper.
All openings feature rubber flaps for noise and odour reduction. The interior walls of the container are fitted with sound-proofing.
The container can be emptied using the "Grumbach system", i.e. it can be lifted out of the exterior cover by crane and opens at the bottom to release its entire contents.
Each ReBox unit can be used for only one recyclable resource. Depending on the available space and location requirements, several units can be combined to form a recycling centre.
Width (front view): 1659 mm; Width (side view): 1659 mm; Height to top of container: 2179 mm; Height (top ground surface): 2300 mm; Volume capacity: 2,6m^3; Material: enamelled sheet steel, Stahl, powder-coated aluminium profiles, single-pane safety glass
The design line Streetline is based on the streamlined geometrical form of the "spherical triangle". Basically a section of an orb, this shape is similar to that of a ship deck. The street furniture developed from this basic shape is modular, easy to expand, and adaptable to different requirements and spaces. Design: Prof. Josef Paul Kleihues, Kleihues + Kleihues, Berlin.
